Jakarta Fashion & Food Festival 2009

THE GRANDIOSE FESTIVAL OF JAKARTA

Fueled by the vision to turn Jakarta into a retail tourism destination, Jakarta Fashion & Food Festival (JFFF), a grandiose annual event, has been held each month of May. JFFF was brought to life through the synergy of DKI Jakarta’s District Government & Summarecon, supported by the Association of Indonesian Fashion Designers & Entrepreneurs (APPMI), Martha Tilaar Group, MRA Media Group, Metro TV and Esmod School of Fashion.

Ever since its first inception in 2004, JFFF has been an annual event. During its five years journey, this festival has gained popularity not only domestically, but also in the neighboring countries. Taking place in Summarecon Kelapa Gading, famous as The City of a Million Flavors, JFFF is a valued event among the Indonesian designers to promote their latest wonderful creations.

Fashion Extravaganza is one agenda that never fails to show up in JFFF, parading the beauty and richness of Indonesian designers’ creation. Furthermore, the merry Food Festival is another program not to be missed, tempting the visitors to grab unique prizes while romancing their taste buds. An extravagant agenda is the Gading Carnival, presenting beautifully decorated street floats, entertaining street attractions and attractive lighting techniques.

Don't miss the excitement of JFFF 2009 "LOCA FORE", on May 13-23, 2009!

INACRAFT 2009

Jakarta International Handicraft Trade Fair or INACRAFT 2009 will be re-organized on April 22 - 26, 2009 at Balai Sidang Jakarta Convention Center (JCC). Such a handicraft trade fair which has been held for 11 years is always expected and intended by Indonesian people and overseas importers who are mainly visited to INACRAFT. Moreover, it is a routine visit agenda for overseas tourists, which is currently being promoted and ancouraged by the government throught the Departement of Culture and Turism.

Due to the familier existance of INACRAFT, we, Tha ASSOCIATION OF EXPORTER AND PRODUCER OF INDONESIAN HANDICRAFT (ASEPHI), in cooperation with PT. MEDIATAMA BINAKREASI, will keep making efforts as optimally as possible for presenting a high-quality package of exhibition which is better than the previous fair, particularly in terms of service provision, product zoning, and internationalization of exhibition by preserving the artistic and interesting traditional nuance.

INACRAFT 2009 will remain be focused on its central theme "From Smart Village to Global Market" by emphasizing the sub theme "Inspiring People to Care about the Environmentally Friendly Handicraft". Basically, it is assumed that the Indonesian handicraft products will be accepted by the international people and have a high selling point for the international market. In other words, INACRAFT provides opportunities for developing more potential creative economy in line with the current program of government.

Therefore, we would like to invite craftsmen, producers, manufacturers and exporters of Indonesian handicraft product to use this golden opportunity by taking active part in INACRAFT 2009 to show their more creative and innovative handicraft products using environmentally friendly raw materials.

At last, we would like to encourage you to develop the independence of local market of Indonesian handicraft products, and high-quality handicraft products to penetrate the free market.

These three stages are to boot equipped by three screens so you can always watch who’s on stage while you are away from stage area.

What’s more are bazaars and an integrated food and beverages section located in parted area from stage area. If last few years you only digged the jazz tone from one area, now we broaden the venue! Not only located in campus ground, you will feel the aura right from the start when you enter the street gates, both east and west gate!

This festival will not only exhibits breathtaking and awe-inspiring music performances but you also can test your luck of the draw in quizzes and doorprizes! Equally, you can play and have merrymaking time with games and fun activities from sponsor and media located in their booth in the stage area.
